Scafell Pike

Scafell Pike is the highest mountain in England. It is located in the Lake District National Park. The mountain has a height of 978 meters above sea level.

The mountain is a popular destination for hikers. The most common route to the summit is from Wasdale Head. The ascent takes around four hours.

The UK’s highest war memorial is located on the summit of Scafell Pike. It was dedicated in memory of the men of the Lake District who died in World War I.

Filmed in 2019, while hiking in Snowdonia National Park I went for a scrambling ascent of the North Ridge of Tryfan. Tryfan is in North Wales and stands at 918m (3,010 ft) and is a long narrow and rocky mountain. The east face and Milestone Buttress are popular with rock climbers but today I followed the north ridge, taking the more challenging route to the summit, where Adam and Eve stand. Two rocky pinnacles that stand watch over the Ogwen valley.
