Scafell Pike

Scafell Pike is the highest mountain in England. It is located in the Lake District National Park. The mountain has a height of 978 meters above sea level.

The mountain is a popular destination for hikers. The most common route to the summit is from Wasdale Head. The ascent takes around four hours.

The UK’s highest war memorial is located on the summit of Scafell Pike. It was dedicated in memory of the men of the Lake District who died in World War I.
