We usually meet at the Roaches Tea Rooms and climb nearby, but as this is a bespoke adventure we can meet you at a range of venues across the peak district.
Start time: 09:30 – Finish time: 16:30
Please note, these times are approximate and could be subject to minor changes. Please leave plenty of time when booking public transport.
We keep a close eye on the weather at all times!
If it’s just looking a little damp, overcast or showery the course will go ahead as normal. Most of the time it’s never as bad as the forecast makes out!
If however, the weather is looking terrible for the duration of the course then you will be given the choice of re-booking for another day later in the year.
We provide all the specialist equipment such as ropes, harnesses and helmets.
What to wear?
We will be outdoors all day and we want you to be comfortable so you’ll need a few things depending on the weather.
Generally, wearing a few layers will give you the most flexibility and help you to stay warm. A T-shirt with a warm fleece layer will keep you warm but please also bring a waterproof jacket. This will help if we have any showers but it will also work as a wind barrier.
Hats and gloves are also a good idea too. Hats with bobbles won’t fit under the helmets but beanie-style ones will.
Jogging bottoms, leggings, and yoga pants are all good to wear on your lower half. You want to maintain flexibility and range of motion so Jeans are out. They also take ages to dry if we get caught in a rain shower.
Don’t wear anything too valuable either as the rock is rough and can damage clothes.
